These terms govern the sale of goods through the Portater Marine Supplies trade portal (staging.uk.portater.net) operated by Portater Marine & Logistics Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales.
"Buyer" means the trade account holder placing an order. "Seller" means Portater Marine & Logistics Ltd. "Goods" means the products listed in our catalogue.
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Prices shown exclude VAT unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before dispatch.
Approved trade accounts are invoiced Net 30 days from date of dispatch. Overdue balances accrue interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate.
Delivery dates are estimates. Risk passes to the Buyer on delivery. Title to the Goods remains with the Seller until payment in full.
Defective goods must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. The Seller's liability is limited to replacement or refund of the purchase price.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England have exclusive jurisdiction.
