Portater Marine Supplies is the trade ordering arm of Portater Ltd, the port and terminal operations company based in Southampton.
We started supplying chandlery and deck gear in 2019 after watching our own port customers struggle to source mooring lines, safety equipment and fenders without long lead times and opaque pricing. The same team that builds and supports the Portater operations platform now runs the supply chain — so we understand what working ports actually need, how quickly they need it, and where the ship is tied up.
Mooring ropes and hardware, personal safety equipment (lifejackets, immersion suits, lifebuoys), lifting and rigging gear, pneumatic and solid fenders, navigation lights and reflectors, marine paints and coatings. We hold over 4,200 SKUs in our Southampton warehouse and dispatch next-day to UK mainland addresses.
